class descriptions

  • Dom the Switch

Welcome to our workshop where we will strip back performances to their essential elements and learn to tell compelling stories through movement. Together, we will embark on a journey to build a captivating and immersive experience.

It's normal to feel intimidated when you see refined performances or immersive scenes. You may wonder where to start and when you'll be ready. These feelings are valid, and the time to start is now!

  • Shay Tiziano & Angel

If you’ve ever said (or thought), "Rope takes too long!" "It’s too complicated!" or "I just want to do something fun/sexy/mean," we'll help you skip the fancy, difficult rope work in favor of versatile, easy-to-learn techniques with immediate applications. After a quick safety speed round (so the instructors can sleep at night), we’ll cover our top 10 tips and tricks, including methods for efficiently and effectively using rope as a tool (aka rope handling), spiral-style experiential ties, and delightfully intense foot, calf, and body ties. This hands-on class encourages self-tying for certain exercises and partnered tying for others; you can come solo or with a partner. Absolutely no rope experience is necessary!

Supplies: The instructors will have some loaner rope. To tie along, we recommend at least one half length (approx 15 feet) and one full length (approx 30 feet) of rope. Jute or hemp is preferred.

  • Sam Wilder

Come learn the essential skills that make up the building blocks for dance and aerial pole, and experience how these skills fit (or don’t) on a slanted pole. Pole is a beautiful, challenging, and dynamic apparatus. In this workshop, we will cover a variety of climbs, slides, and poses for all levels. We will spin, swing, and orbit, exploring the unique movement of this apparatus. Students need to bring layers including a long sleeve shirt, leggings and stretchy jeans. Aerial pole combines techniques from Chinese pole and dance pole, so the need for skin coverage varies for each skill and each individual's personal preferences.

  • Nikita Velour

Get low and let go in this unapologetically slutty heels floorwork class designed to unleash your most seductive self. Learn from a $tripper how to roll, grind, and melt across the floor that blends sensuality with edge—perfect for performers who want to feel hot, filthy, and in control (or totally out of it). Expect a mix of slinky transitions, juicy hip work, and knee-friendly filth that’ll leave the floor begging for mercy. ***Heels & Kneepads strongly encouraged.

  • Sade Symone

    ✨ A Breath-Focused Journey into Embodied Movement ✨

Ready to ground yourself, let go, and move from the inside out? Join us for Sink into Sensuality, a beginner-friendly floorwork class designed to help you fully inhabit your body through breath-driven movement and intuitive exploration. We’ll begin with a luxurious full-body stretch to awaken the senses, then ease into guided prompts and playful movement games that nurture confidence, body awareness, and sensual expression.

Whether you're new to movement or a seasoned dancer looking to reconnect with your inner rhythm, this class is a safe and affirming space to explore your sensuality on your own terms.

Come as you are — kneepads and yoga mats are highly recommended. Heels or socks? Pick your pleasure. 💋

  • Pat Baillie & Sharrin Spector

Queer, kinky, military, butch…how do they all fit together? Join Pat Baillie as she looks back at her time in Santa Cruz and how they all came together through life, world affairs and community focused on passionate service and discovering how to be true to yourself!

  • Conor Fenrir

Come build connection thru bootblacking! No prior experience needed.

From technical bootblacking, focused on product selection, to bootblacking as foreplay, focused on connection and building anticipation, this class explores the range of possible experiences on a 101 bootblacking level.

Content includes negotiation and basic techniques, as well as a demo. We will cover a range of masculine to feminine garments and footwear. You can bootblack many materials, so bring your favorite leather, pleather, or vegan leather.

  • Dizzy Stardust

In this dance class, we will flow, slink, slide and smooth floorwork and transitions, with a focus on sensual embodiment. This class is mostly floorwork and is accessible to all levels. Kneepads/knee protection recommended

    Prerequisites: all levels

    Attire: kneepads. Heels optional

  • Pearlescent Moon

What happens when we let the body lead the feeling—and the feeling lead the body?

Join Pearlescent Moon for Move What You Feel, a dance and movement workshop where emotional expression takes center stage. Rooted in somatic processing, this class invites you to explore your inner world through the lens of embodiment, play, and shared discovery.

We'll begin by landing together: sharing names and pronouns, grounding in a brief meditation, and warming up our bodies with curiosity and compassion. From there, we’ll move through guided prompts and playful exploration, using movement as a way to express, process, and alchemize emotion—whether that’s joy, grief, rage, arousal, absurdity, or all of the above.

This isn’t about choreography or technique—it’s about honesty, sensation, and letting your body speak in its own strange, beautiful language.

    Please bring:

One or two songs that evoke emotion for you (we’ll use them during class!)

Comfortable clothes you can move in

Any props you feel called to dance or move with (scarves, ropes, gloves, plushies—go wild)

A few emotions you’re willing to play with, hold gently, or get messy about

All bodies, backgrounds, and experience levels are welcome. Let’s move, feel, and maybe even get a little weird—together.
